Discover more from Our Portugal Journey
This isn’t my normal type of post, but I think it’s an important one, so this week, I’m introducing a new way for you to read your favorite posts (including mine), all in one place.
Maybe you’ve noticed that my blog is on the Substack platform. Substack lets independent writers like me as well as podcasters, publish directly to their audience either through free or paid subscriptions. Today, I want to bring your attention to a new way to read your favorite posts, podcasts, and videos - not only from Our Portugal Journey - but hundreds of other top-quality writers and podcasters.
New Substack App.
Introducing the Substack app for iOS and Android. Now you can read all your Substack subscriptions and more in a clean, simple, and fast web reader. You can also add a publication from outside the Substack platform. Simply select “Add RSS feed” from the left sidebar on the app.
Other noteworthy features:
Press
E
to archive a post,S
to save it for later, orL
to leave a like.Access your Profile, your Library, and Discover from the left sidebar.
Use Search at the top of the screen to find new Substacks.
For old-school online readers who like to navigate by hot key, this app has you covered. Just use J/K
to hop between posts without touching your trackpad.
No distractions.
In the new Reader, there are no pop-ups, auto-playing videos, or whirring gadgets – in other words, no distracting stuff. You’re in control.
I hope you’ll give the new Substack app a try. As always, thank you for reading and subscribing to Our Portugal Journey. I hope you find some of the information here helpful, informative, and entertaining.
My blog is free to subscribers. If you find my posts useful, I would appreciate it if you’d share Our Portugal Journey with others.
You can also follow Our Portugal Journey on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
Or, if you like my work, consider buying me a coffee (or a glass of wine!)
Back to ‘regular programming’ next week!
Until next time…
Obrigada!
