Thank you for reading Our Portugal Journey. I hope you find some of the content here helpful, informative, and entertaining.

I often get messages from my readers asking me for a link to a particular post that they can’t seem to locate in their emails. So, in this post, I’m going to show you how to get the most out of Our Portugal Journey and how to easily navigate this blog.

The website.

All of the content on Our Portugal Journey lives on my website. The latest post is always in the center of the website page. Recent posts are shown on the left side of the website home page, and the most popular posts are shown on the right side of the website home page.

Our Portugal Journey website home page layout.

The header tabs at the top of the home page have links to a variety of resources including an about page, a table of contents, how to get in touch with me, how to support my work, how to collaborate with me, and links to my social media.

Header tabs on the Home page.

If you scroll to the bottom of the home page, you’ll see more recent posts as well as a “View All” link to see everything on the website.

The email newsletter.

If you’re a subscriber to Our Portugal Journey, you will receive an email from me twice a month (usually on a Thursday). It will look something like this in your email inbox:

This email will come from Carol from Our Portugal Journey along with the subject of the post.

If you’re not receiving my newsletters, please check your Spam folder and mark my emails as Safe.

When you click on the email, it will look something like this:

This is what a post will look like when you click on the email link.

You can read the post from your email inbox – however, sometimes if the post is too long email providers will cut it off when the post reaches their character count limit.

To read the full post, click on the header or title of the post. It will take you to my website where you can read the post in its entirety.

The Substack app.

Substack is the platform that hosts Our Portugal Journey. You can download the Substack app to see all the Substack newsletters you subscribe to including mine. If you use the same email for the Substack app as you do for receiving the newsletter in your email inbox, you will only receive the newsletter once and that will be only on the app.

No paywall.

I have structured Our Portugal Journey so that it does not have a paywall. In other words, when you subscribe you get all the content for free. However, if you find my content valuable, there are options available to help support my work.

Wrapping up.

I hope this helps you to navigate my website and blog posts a little easier. If you have questions or suggestions for improvements, please get in touch.

Thank you for reading Our Portugal Journey. This blog is a subscriber supported publication but has no paywall – in other words, you can subscribe for free and receive all the content. However, if you find my content valuable, please consider becoming a Supporting Subscriber for a nominal fee either on a monthly or annual basis right here.  Just want to buy me a glass of wine? You can do that here.

Until next time…

Obrigada!
