Enjoyed the Douro trip! Curious about some of the first food pictures such as duck and rice meal, was that at the Inn up the mountain? We need to plan a trip up North and yours looked perfect. Thanks for sharing

wonderful! we loved the douro. and this brought back great memories. it truly is the most beautiful wine region in the world. just love that you and paul have the best time in your new country.
I have really enjoyed getting to see what you and Paul have been up to. The pictures were beautiful especially the food and terrain. Oh how I miss a crisp white port. I’m sure you can find them in the US, but not in my neck of the woods.
Thanks for your comment, Mary. We really enjoyed the Douro but unfortunately we had to cut our trip short by a couple of days because I came down with the flu 🤧.
We hit a heat wave while there so those white port tonics were very refreshing!
I believe that Portugal is not exporting much in the way of alcohol to the US right now due to the tariffs. We met a couple from California who were having trouble finding a Douro winery that would be willing to ship a case of wine to them.
Sorry that you can't find white Port in your neck of the woods. Maybe if/when you and Mike go on a road trip to a larger city, you might get lucky and find a bottle! - CW
