I loved the olive wood board and the cork board for the office. I cant wait to get back to PT to purchase a few of these items! Great article. Thank you for sharing these products and retailers with us.
Thanks for your comment, Ellen. The cork samples I received are truly beautiful as well as the olive wood board. I think over time, the dark cork won't smudge clothing. I'm sure if I wash them with a damp cloth a few times, that they will just fine. I really liked how they looked on my table! - CW
Very interesting. Cork can be so much more. My daughter’s company in NYC, Rockwell Associates, recently created a huge stand at the annual and famous Milan design fair, with a lobby, a corridor and working bar created entirely of cork. Phenomenal. Also at the Design museum in Lisbon are some incredible cork furniture pieces. I guess its inherent sustainability is finally catching on.

Highly suggest this brand for more designer gloss in cork: https://www.architonic.com/en/product/simpleformsdesign-cork-wash-basin/1061609
Also this for a more edgy approach to cork and other portuguese raw materiais

So interesting Carol! My favorite is the beautiful wooden piece! I agree that it’s too pretty to use as a cutting board!
Cork is great, we clad our house in it!
