It is a resort well worth visiting. Have done so a few times with my kids and its perfect for a family holiday. Food has always been great and choice of 5 or more pools adds to the experience( indoor and outdoor pools.) The lake is huge stretching for quite a few kilometres in two directions from the resort.

From one childless cat/dog lady to another, yeah... you lost me at "high chairs at half the tables..." :) Otherwise, it looks like a nice place in a beautiful region. I'll be interested to hear about the wineries.

Yes - probably not a place for you two. We didn't realize about the high chairs until the second day. Then, we started looking around and they were everywhere! At breakfast, we had to search for a table that didn't have one! But it is a beautiful spot - off-season - for us childless cat/dog ladies. The wine tasting was great! We're planning a trip just for that soon! - CW

Thanks for your post. I'm Portuguese and I know the area. It's a very beautiful area, just like Gerês (https://www.visitportugal.com/pt-pt/destinos/porto-e-norte/73747) or the Castelo de Bode Dam (https://www.visitportugal.com/pt-pt/content/barragem-do-castelo-de-bode)
