Love seeing this! I first went into Porches back in the mid-80's and still have a couple of small pieces from then. We've now moved to Porto and renovated an old house, and one of the things we wanted to do was to have a Porches backsplash... Estella was wonderful to work with, and did an absolutely amazing backsplash, just as we dreamed it might be. It's a stunning focus in the kitchen. Thank you for further-ing their lovely work and putting them in your blog!

Thanks for the tip on Porches pottery! I’m leaving all my dishes behind in the US and looking forward to getting authentic pottery. One 1st world question: are the dishwasher safe?

Thanks for your comment, Wendy. Most of the items are dishwasher safe. Here's a link from the Porches Pottery website regarding the care of their items: https://www.porchespottery.com/en/product-care - CW

The cake server is beautiful and I imagine I would have thoroughly enjoyed that place. The photos of the entry sign as well as the stairs are charming! What a treat to visit a place where you can enjoy and appreciate so much artisan beauty! Absolutely lovely and so interesting! Thank you!

HEAVEN! It would have taken me a couple of hours just to wander and absorb the beauty before getting down to the serious work of shopping. I felt like I was walking alongside you in this fun article. Thank you!
